Leaders who won't listen are often riddled with their own brain clutter. These types of leaders have a high turn over with their talent.
Become a great leader in your professional and personal life in 3 simple steps:
1. DECLUTTER your brain by writing down what’s on your mind. Prioritize what’s most important and take action
(small increments work well).
2. LISTEN to what people are saying & clarify what you are hearing by repeating what they said.
3. OPENING YOUR MIND to listen to what other people are saying will enable them to feel heard and understood.
EXEMPLARY LEADERS practice these mindful listening behaviors as they know that people will stick by them and help to carry out your vision if people feel known and understood.
Practice these 3 simple steps and watch others follow where you lead!
1. Set Goals. How do you want to feel when your time with your coach concludes?
2. Be open to new perspectives.
3. Commit to action strategies.
4. Be willing to receive feedback and offer feedback to the Coach.
5. Carry Executive Coaching lessons into the rest of the week.
After the COVID-19 quarantine, many people came out of this experience stronger than ever. They were able to maintain a growth mindset by tapping into their positive emotions. This enabled them to find the silver linings during the lockdown.
Their optimism helped them to be more creative & flexible, which increased their abilities to solve problems & make healthy decisions.
They built positive bonds with their family & friends by creatively connecting to their important relationships.
They called or sent a text to someone they cared about and let them know they were thinking of them. Isolation doesn’t have to create emotional distance.
People that found silver linings during the quarantine told people that they appreciated them as their positivity became the best kind of infectious behavior that inspired others around them to pay it forward.
The struggles that people experienced during the quarantine continue to be a challenge for many of us. People continue to fear covid and many fear being controlled by issues surrounding covid.
